Egg Fry/Masala Eggs

Skip the classic salt and pepper flavouring for your boiled eggs and try this amazing spicy fried eggs. Make it into a curry or enjoy it in a dry or semi-gravy form, equally delicious either ways.

Ingredients
1. Egg – 6 Nos
2. Oil – 1 Tbsp
3. 5-6 cloves Garlic
4. Onion – 1 No. Thinly Sliced
5. Salt
6. Turmeric Powder
7. Pepper – 1/2 Tsp
8. Cumin Powder – 1/2 Tsp
9. Chilli Powder – 2 Tsp
10. Curry Leaves

How to make it Healthier
1. You can cook the onions with some tomatoes for a little bit longer, along with water as required for desired consistency, to make this dish with a gravy variant.

2. Fully hard boiled eggs work best with this recipe.

3. Best cooked in ghee or home-made white butter.

4. Add cheese or have with stir-fried veggies to have as a filling complete meal.

Instructions

1. Boil the egg for about 15 mins.
2. Once the egg is boiled, let it cool and peel it.
3. To a pan, add oil, pounded garlic, thinly chopped onions and saute it.
4. Saute the onion, until they change color.
5. Now add the salt, turmeric powder, pepper powder, cumin powder and chilli powder.
6. Saute the masala powders until the raw smell goes.
7. To this, add the eggs after slightly slitting it.
8. Saute the egg for about 2 mins.
9. Now add the curry leaves and saute for 1 more mins.
10. Spicy Egg Fry is ready.
