One of the most loved Indian snacks, pakoras are the first choice whenever it rains, the weather is amazing or you have guests coming over. Toss up some paneer or veggies or some chicken crisps using this delicious recipe.

Ingredients
1. 100 grams Paneer
2. 1 Egg
3. 3 Tsp Psyllium Husk
4. 1 Tsp Kasuri Methi/Dried -Fenugreek Leaves
5. 1 Tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
6. 1/2 Tsp Tumeric Buy Online
7. 1/4 Tsp Garam Masala Powder
8. Salt to Taste
9. Ghee for Frying

How to make it Healthier
1. If you want to use oil for frying, use an oil with high smoke point, like sesame oil etc but ghee is preferable.

2. You can also make these pakoras with different kind of veggies as well.

Instructions

1. Mix half the kashmiri chilli powder with half the tumeric, all the garam masala and some salt (about 1/2 tsp) and mix it all to create a dry rub.
2. Individually dab the paneer pieces in the spice mix and coat well. Else mix all of it together in a bowl so the paneer is well coated.
3. To make the batter crack the egg in a bowl and mix with some salt, the rest of the chilli power and tumeric and the kasuri methi and mix well.
4. Then add in the psyllium husk 1 tsp at a time till the mixture is nice and thick like a batter.
5. Dip the paneer in the batter and then deep fry. Cook till the batter is nice and golden brown.
6. Serve them hot with some green chutney.
