Short & Crisp Snippets
As we know, naked carbs i.e, carbohydrates without fibre spike more insulin compared to carbs taken with fibre. This spike is relatively measured from glycemic index.
Similarly, naked protein without fat, also spikes insulin. Whole protein with fat gives a lesser spike which is also relatively measured by insulin index.
So it is always a good idea to have proteins with fats for example:
1. In seafood, both fat and protein are cooked together
2. For chicken, while buying, always procure skin (which is fat) also along with meat (which is protein) for cooking
3. For eggs, always eat the whole egg, both yellow and white part
4. For nuts, seeds, paneer, cheese, all these naturally come as a protein+fat combination
