Did you know your favourite delicious Coconut ladoos can also be relished with very very less refined carbs. With just 2-3 main ingredients, you can make this sweet delicacy for yourself and your family for festive seasons and otherwise as well!
Coconut Ladoo
Ingredients
1. 2 cup unsweetened desiccated coconut
2. 1 tbsp Ghee/Butter
3. 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk/regular milk
4. 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream
5. 1 tsp Cardamom powder
6. Low GL sweetener
Ingredients

How to make it Healthier
1. If the mixture seems to be too dry, add more milk.

2. Make sure to coat the coconut balls with the shredded coconut right after rolling them. Reason – Coconut Balls will become less and less sticky the more you wait so coat them right away to make sure they really look like lovely little snowballs.

3. You can also add dry nuts or garnish with almonds for more taste and crunch.

Instructions

1. Heat 1 tbsp ghee/butter.
2. Add unsweetened desiccated coconut and saute for around 4-5 minutes on low flame. It will start changing its color.
3. Now is the time to add milk. Add 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk/ coconut milk or regular milk and keep stirring constantly (on low flame).
4. Once completely mixed, pour the heavy whipping cream.
5. Mix everything together until all the desiccated coconut is coated in almond milk and heavy whipping cream.
6. Add 1/3 cup sweetener or less acc to your taste and 1 tsp Cardamom powder. Set aside.
7. For coating – take desiccated coconut in one bowl and add 1 tsp cardamom powder. In another bowl take desiccated coconut.
8. Roll a tablespoon worth of the coconut mixture into balls. Then roll each ball in the desiccated coconut.
