Short & Crisp Snippets
There are 3 stages to covid: 1. Incubation : It is 3 to 5 days and mostly unidentified. 2. Symptomatic : 7 to 9 days of symptomatic period appears, after incubation period. This is the stage in which the virus replicates, and virus is at its peak replicable stage when the symptoms start appearing. 3. Pulmonary stage: Pulmonary phase appears, after the above two phases, which is basically the inflammatory response due to the presence of viral debris. If people from the same household test positive at the same time, means that everyone is in their symptomatic phase. Every individual’s body responds differently, which goes on for 7-9 days and this is the time when the cultural reproduces in the body. Aim in this stage is to minimise the reproduction so that there is minimal debris left to cause inflammation. So let say if someone is on day 7 of symptomatic phase, the reproduction is about to stop in the body. Now if the same person keeps exposing themselves to another family member who is on day 2 of symptomatic phase. Effectively, the reproduction will not stop and will go on a little extra time for the first person. After this, when the reproduction stops, there will be higher amount is virus debris left which will worsen the pulmonary phase. Quarantining together puts everyone at higher risk of getting sick. You should Aim to stay in your room, and stay away from other people as much as possible, even in cases of testing positive in same household and follow enhanced cleaning procedures for shared areas in order to decrease chances of further infections.
