Bhutanese cuisine has amazing recipes consisting of datshi (cheese in Bhutanese), this one is one amazing creamy cheesy chicken dish that you can make in no time. Add some capsicum and green veggies as well to complete your meal.

1. Chicken 500 gram
2. Chilli
3. 1 medium size onion
4. 1 tbsp of garlic paste
5. Cheese
6. Garlic leaves
7. 5 tbsp of oil
8. Salt

How to make it Healthier
1. You can also make a besan paste with some seasoning and coat the chicken in this paste before frying to get more texture to your chicken.

Instructions

1. Add salt and seasoning to chicken pieces. Mix well.
2. Heat cooking oil.
3. Drop chicken pieces one by one in hot oil. Fry the chicken until it’s becomes golden brown.
4. In a pot, add fried chicken, 1 medium sized chopped onion, 1 tbsp garlic paste and chillis according to your taste.
5. Add 5 tbsp of butter/olive oil/sesame oil.
6. Add 1 cup hot water.
7. Add cheese, as much as you like.
8. Cover and cook for 2 minutes, add some garlic leaves after a minute.
9. Cook for 1 more minute and stir it well.
10. Add some salt and seasoning, keep stirring.
11. Ready to be served.
